How much does a concrete driveway or patio cost in Los Angeles?
Most LA concrete flatwork runs about $12 to $20 per square foot, so a typical driveway lands around $6,000 to $15,000 depending on size, thickness, and reinforcement. Stamped or colored decorative concrete adds roughly $6 to $12 per square foot. We give you a fixed itemized price up front, and financing is available to spread the cost.
Do I need a permit to pour concrete in LA?
It depends on the work. Foundations, structural slabs, and pours that affect drainage or sit near property lines usually require a City of LA permit, while a simple patio replacement often does not. We determine what's needed and handle the permitting for you before any concrete is poured.
Why does concrete crack, and how do you prevent it?
Most cracking comes from poor base prep, missing reinforcement, or no control joints, not the concrete itself. We compact the base properly, add rebar or mesh, place expansion and control joints at the right spacing, and cure the slab correctly, all backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty.
Can you match new concrete to my existing patio or driveway?
We can blend broom finishes, colors, and stamped patterns to closely match adjacent concrete, though some tone difference is normal as new concrete cures and ages. For repairs, we'll show you honestly whether resurfacing or full replacement gives the better long-term result.
Do you use your own crews or subcontract the work?
Every pour is done by Oran's own in-house crews, we don't subcontract concrete. That means one licensed, accountable team (CSLB #1086123) controls prep, forming, and finishing, which is the main reason our concrete holds up across LA and the San Fernando Valley.
